Hi, I had googled Seth Randleman's name and came across this, and I can't believe he was on here. I went to basic training with Seth back in 01 and would love to get ahold of him!! jkirk002@yahoo.com

On the morning of April 10, 2008 I was involved in an accident at the intersection of Rte. 4 and Cox Road. I just wanted to sincerely Thank all of the emergency personel that helped me at the accident site. I don't really remember names or faces, but I do remember how extremely kind and caring they were to me. How blessed I feel to live in a county where we have such kind, compassionate and caring people that put their lives on the line each and everyday to help others. Words will never express my sincere gratitude to all of you. May each and everyone of you be kept safe and secure in our God's Loving Arms.

We want to thank each and every member of the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Dept. for the most moving memorial service we have every experienced. I never knew how truly blessed we really are to have shared Bill in our lives with the HVFD and community. He touched many lives and the tributes spoken at the memorial service were very heartfelt.

I want you to know, that our "Gentle Giant" will be smiling down on everyone and watching over all of us. When you least expect it, I believe he will make you smile, give you strength to carry on.

I am currently on tour in Bosnia with the military and will not make it the service on Sunday. Bill has assisted me in the Past. I am so glad to see the brotherhood of Company 6 still stands strong taking care of the brothers. Please send my sympathies to the family.

I wanted to thank everyone at HVFD6 for all of their support both past & present. Bill always said you all were family and I now know what he meant by "Taking Care Of Our Own". You all have been there for our family through thick and thin. Thanks for all you have done, are doing now, and will do in the future not only for our family but the entire human race.

I want to thank everyone at the HVFD for all of the love and prayers you have given to my brother Bill Schrom and our family during these difficult times. It comforts us greatly to know how much of a "Fire Department Family" you truly are. He asked me to thank you all for helping him last Sunday. Wow, things have changed significantly since I was a member of Prince Frederick VFD back in 1957-58 and still in school! You have a fantastic site, and it is professionally maintained. I am a life member in Urbana VFD, Urbana, Md. and our site, thogh well done, can't compare. Congratulations to your entire membership...

I would like to say congratulations to F/F Larry Kerns on his officer of the year award, he enjoys being a fire fighter and he deserves the awards he gets, congrats again "little bro" :)

Ya'll have some great trucks and ems units. We are in the very far northeast corner of the panhandle. We fight more grass fires than anything. And make a few medical runs too.

Hope you guys are not flat out as our fire crews here

We just want to thank you for all you did on Saturday for my wife and daughter when they had the head-on collision. My wife was hurt pretty badly, and we feel the professionalism of the rescue crews saved her life. We are so grateful for your dedication to community. Continue doing good things, and stay safe.

Thank you to all the volunteers that came to my aid after the accident I had on October 22, 2007. My recovery from my injuries is going well, and I have no doubt that this is due in part to the care that I received from everyone involved. I wish everyone a very blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving.

I really like your site. Shows what firemen have to go through in their daily jobs.

My father was an L.A. (Los Angeles, Calif) firefighter during the watts riots...could never understand why the people down there were trying to kill him when he was trying to save thier families! Even after all that and more, he was never prejudice.

We had many years of fun going with the firemen on outings in the summer and whenever. It was like one big family out camping, fishing, etc. Was so much fun.

My dad went through the wars and came home and has his young wife die from a dirty needle after she went into the hospital for pheunomia and left him with 2 small kids. Then he fought with the fire dept. So when he died of cancer, he couldn't believe that would be the way he would go, dying in a hospital bed. After wars, falling through roofs when fighting fires, wading through 3' deep water in a chemical warehouse fires, not knowing what was in the water..etc.

So keep up the great work! My respect for firemen, service men, etc. is great! And I hope to teach my son the same respect. At least my dad got to see 2 years of his "little man".

Dear H-Town Firefighters-Just wanted to take a minute to thank you all again. TJ is doing well. Had it not been for the quick response of your crew and the others first responders there is no doubt my son would not be here. Thank you for getting him the help he so desperatly needed so quickly! As the father of the teen that was killed on june 30,2007 11:03pm I(walnutcreek rd.) just want to say thank you. Its been very hard on his 2 brothers and us you all have a very diffcult job and sometimes its a thankless one.
