Saturday June 4, 2011 at 1801 hours, Chief 6 (Riffe), Squad 6 (Sgt Clark), Engine 62 (Grierson) and Ambulance 69 (Bevard) were alerted for the overturned tractor with entrapment at 510 Carla Drive. Units arrived on location and found the same. Due to the severity of the injuries and the patients condition deteoriating rapidly, the decision was made to quickly upright the tractor with the manpower provided rather than by hydraulically or mechanically. The patient was quickly loaded into Ambulance 69 for transport to the Landing Zone which was handled by Engine 62. The patient was transported to a local trauma center. Units cleared at 1852 hours.
