On Sunday May 1, 2005, Company 6 attended the annual Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association (SMVFA) parade in Solomons, MD. The department participated in the parade and several competitions including an EMS contest. Huntingtown received 1st place in the EMS contest and was awarded two trophies; one to keep and one to take home for one year, when it is awarded to the next department in 2006. Many thanks to the members who could make this happen.
