| On Saturday September 11th, the volunteers of Huntingtown VFD sponsored the first annual Bull/Shrimp Feast for the surrounding community. The festivities began at 1300 and ended at 1800 for the community.
Afterwards, the volunteers relaxed around the station. Approximately 50 members participated in the event that was ran by Chief Ozzie Osbourn and F/F Carl Nutwell. Several people came from the community to enjoy the food and overall atmosphere.
Susan Starfires Dance Studio in Huntingtown gave a small dance production for the guests enjoyment which attracted over one-hundred people alone. Several games were held for the kids while the adults could relax. Many thanks to all the members that participated and especially to the citizens that made this a success. |
