| This past Tuesday September 21st, a fundraiser benefit was held at Rita's Ice Cream in Prince Frederick, Md. The purpose was to raise funds for Past Assistant Chief Ricky Smith (Solomons VRSFD) who is currently battling cancer. To show our support, the Huntingtown Volunteers were well represented with Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Engine 61 (Wallace), Squad 6 (Capt Collins), Tanker 6 (Gaylor), Brush 6 (Williams) and Ambulance 69 (Flynt). Chief Smith---keep fighting!!!!!!
While at the benefit, the above units (exception of Brush 6 and Ambulance 69) responded to 65 Mountain Trail (3rd due) for the working shed fire.
