| This past Friday April 16th was the annual Calvert County Fire & Rescue Assocation Awards Dinner. This particular year it was held at Saint Leonard VFD. Several members in the County received recognition ranging from the Hall of Fame to Appreciation Awards.
In addition, the Calvert County Cadets (high school students in the MFRI program), received recognition for their success in the current program. Currently, there are 10 members alone from the Huntingtown VFD that are enrolled in this county program.
