| During the evening hours of Saturday March 13th, over 300 people packed the Hall at Huntingtown for the 36th Annual Installation of Officers/Banquet. Several members were recognized throughout the evening for their service to the department. The Master of Ceremonies was Senate President Mike Miller, benediction led by Huntingtown VFD President Gene Farrell. Food was provided by Thompson's Seafood Catering. Music and Entertainment by DJ Rob Ogle, Slideshow presentation was courtesy of member, Josh Miller & Dennis Hook. The administrative awards were led by President Gene Farrell. The operational awards were led by Chief Jonathan Riffe, A/C Michael Montgomery, D/C Brian Thrasher, and Captain Bernie Collins.
Firefighter of the Year & Edward Morrison Award was presented to Billy Bingham; EMT of the Year was presented to Sara Jordan. Rookie Firefighter of the Year was presented to Dylan Smith, Rookie EMT of the Year was presented to Brittany Forker. Chiefs Award were presented to Gene Farrell. Officers of the Year were presented to Assistant Chief Michael Montgomery & Captain Jessi Borden. A special Chief's Appreciation Award was handed out to Dennis Hook, Phil Newman, Mike Clark & Mike Nasti. A total of 4 Lifesaving Awards were presented during the banquet due to members actions in 2009.
