Saturday November 14, 2009, at 0142 hours, Box 608 was alerted for the auto on fire next to a house at #40 Sun Park Lane bringing Chief 6B (Thrasher), Captain 6 (Collins), Engine 62 (Nasti), Squad 6 (S/O Mckenny) and Tanker 6 (Farrell). Unit arrived to find a pick-up truck well involved next to a garage. The front bumper line off Engine 62 was deployed making quick work of the fire and preventing fire spread to the structure. The box was quickly scaled back to Company 6 units only. The Huntingtown Volunteers returned to service at 0233 hours.
