| This past Thursday, a total of 41 members gathered at the firehouse for a temporary farewell dinner for two members. Jimmy Hildwine and Kyle Colleli have both been members of the Huntingtown VFDRS for several years. Both members joined the Military; Jimmy with the Army and Kyle with the Marines.
After being gone for several months stationed at their respective camps within the states, they returned home to Huntingtown but for only a short period of time. Jimmy has received papers he will be deployed to Iraq and Kyle is being deployed to Afghanistan. They will both be defending our country in the ongoing wars overseas.
Last nites menu: Steaks, sauteed mushrooms/onions, steamed broccoli, macaroni salad, salad, rolls.
In addition, Thursday evening, over one dozen members slept in quarters to staff the apparatus. Please keep Jimmy and Kyle in your prayers. GOOD LUCK! |
