Wednesday April 20, 2009, 7 minutes before midnight, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Chief 6B (Thrasher), Chief 6C (Morris), and Engine 62 (Rountree) were alerted for the possible house fire at 2430 5th Street (110 box). Units arrived to find heavy fire showing from a single-family trailer (with large addition). Engine 62 (4th due engine) arrived 2nd and assumed those responsibilities by supplying Engine 11, and advancing a back-up line to assist with extinguishment. Additionally, the crew from Engine 62 assisted with opening up and overhaul. The Working Fire Dispatch brought Squad 6 (Williams) as the 1st due Special Service. The 13 Huntingtown Volunteers operated on the scene until 0212 hours. One additional crew remained in quarters.
