April 28, 2009
Early morning, Tuesday April 28, 2009, a total of 15 Huntingtown Volunteers took part in a Mock Crash drill at our neighboring Huntingtown High School. A "911 call" was received reporting a serious two-vehicle accident involving several teenagers. Chief 6A, Chief 6B, Squad 6, Engine 62, and Ambulance 69 responded along with Dunkirk Ambulance 58. Units arrived and found two vehicles involved with several students trapped and ejected. The purpose of this mock crash was to show students the effect that drugs and alcohol has when behind the wheel.
