Saturday February 28, 2009 at 2013 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Lt Grierson), Brush 6 (Jeffreys) and Tanker 6 (Morris) were alerted for the brush fire at 30 Kyler Road. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived to find a fully-involved shed already on the ground. In addition, several exposure problems were encountered including a house, shed, and several piles of trash. However, within a few minutes the fire was knocked down and units returned to service at 2044 hours.
