30 minutes before midnight on Sunday October 5, 2008, Lieutenant 6 (Thrasher), Engine 62 (Rountree), and Tanker 6 (Farrell) were alerted for the auto fire at 100 Hoile Lane. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived to find a pick-up truck well involved with fire. The 150' bumper line brought the fire quickly under control, with the exception of the fuel tank rupturing which required foam. Due to the fire being suspicious in nature, Engine 62 remained on the scene for 2 hours.
