1300 hours on Thursday June 5, 2008, Chief 6 (Riffe), Chief 6B (Montgomery), Chief 6C (Hayes), and Engine 62 (Nasti) were alerted to 307 Serenity Court in "Calvert Towne" for the town-house fire (211 Box). First arriving Engine 22 arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the 2nd floor of a town-house. Huntingtown units arrived next and were tasked with assisting Engine 22's crew on the fire floor. A room and contents fire was found along with extension in the hallway and two adjacent rooms. Quick work was made of the fire. Prince Frederick and Huntingtown units additionally opened up, conducted a search, and handled Utilities. All other responding units checked the neighboring exposure or staged. After 20 minutes, the entire Box Assignment was held to Prince Frederick VFD and Huntingtown VFD. Units cleared at 1418 hours.
