On Thursday December 23, 2004 at 1527 hours, Company 6 (Huntingtown), Company 5 (Dunkirk), Company 1 (North Beach), and Tanker 2 (Prince Frederick) were alerted to 6401 Solomons Island Road for smoke in the house. Chief 6 (Osbourn), Chief 6A (Riffe), Chief 6B (Hayes), Engine 61 (F/F Nasti), Engine 62 (F/F Hengstenberg), Squad 6 (Sgt. Bivens), Tanker 6 (F/F Cox, D), and Ambulance 69 (Medic Borden) arrived on the scene to find a two-story single family dwelling with nothing evident. Engine 61 dropped a supply line and advanced the cross-lay into the residence along with the Squad crew while everybody else Level 1 staged. The crew checked the attic and remainder of the floors but were unable to locate anything. Chief 6 held Engine 61 and Squad until 1600 hours when Command was terminated.
