Lt Thrasher and Sgt Nasti receive Firehouse Magazine Heroism Award

The members of the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department are pleased to announce that two of our own members have been recognized by Fire Magazine and awarded the Heroism Award for their actions on the Halloween fire in 2006. On that night, Lt Brian Thrasher and Sgt Nasti rescued a female from a fully-involved house fire not even thinking about the danger surrounding them. When she was removed from the house, she was pulseless and not breathing. But due to their quick actions and EMS personnel on the scene, she was revived and today has made a full recovery.
Once again, congratulations to both of them.
