| This past week, the Huntingtown Volunteers purchased the new Utility 6. It is a 2007 4X4 GMC Sierra 2500 extended cab with a Duramax diesel and Allison 1000 series transmission. It is also fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. It will be utilized by the officers and members for emergency responses, training, the corvette raffle, and Ladies Auxiliary. In the next few weeks it will be lettered along with the emergency lights. This all possible due to Assistant Chief Spriggs and the Apparatus Committee.
The Committee is also looking over the specifications of the new Command vehicle, Brush truck, and Tanker which is also being purchased this year.
