Early morning on December 22, 2006 at 0440 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers, Company 2 (Prince Frederick), Company 5 (Dunkirk), and Tanker 7 (St Leonard) were alerted to 2069 Lowery Oaks Lane for the house fire. Units from Huntingtown: Chief 6 (Osbourn), Chief 6A (Riffe), Chief 6C (Spriggs), Engine 61 (Lt Thrasher), Engine 62 (Wells, M), Squad 6 (Muholland), and Tanker 6 (Harris). Chief 6A arrived on location with a fully-involved house already burnt to the ground. A bystander also advised that the homeowner was unaccounted for. Chief 6A established command as the crews from Engine 61, Squad 6, and Engine 21 stretched three attack lines to protect the neighboring exposure, attempt a search for the homeowner and extinguishing all remaining fire. Minutes later, the homeowner was contacted over the phone and was accounted for out of state. The box was quickly held to Company 6, Engine 21, Tanker 5, and Tanker 7. Remaining units operated on the fireground until 0646 hours.
