Yesterday evening, marked the last night of the annual Santa Run for the children of Huntingtown. Beginning Friday evening and ending yesterday, it was once again a success. Last year 1,000 children were visited. However, we reached well over 1,600 children this year. Bags with fire prevention material, coloring books, crayons, and candy was handed out as well as fire helmets. Many thanks to the dedicated members who staffed between 5-8 pieces of apparatus EVERY night for this event. Extra special thanks to Santa and Mrs. Claus for allowing this to happen as we do every year.
