What normally lasts for one week across the nation, lasted one month for the Huntingtown Volunteers. Due to such an increase in the population of the county and so many new schools and daycares, it would have been impossible to accomplish this all in one week. This past month, the members of Huntingtown visited 15 facilities throughout the county (schools, daycares, etc) and educated approximately 565 children. Over 23 members of our department were able to assist and many thanks goes to them. At one point, the members were able to staff the Engine, Squad, and Ambulance for one event.
