| Just as most departments around the country are invited, tonight, the Huntingtown Volunteers were invited to an event at the Saint Nicholas Church on Plum Point Road for the annual National Night Out. This event takes place in many neighborhoods across the country and was designed to get the community and the emergency rescue personnel together for an eventful evening. Tonight, a crew of 13 Volunteers boarded Engine 61, Squad 6, Jeep 6, and Ambulance 69 for just that. Despite the over 100 degrees weather, the event went great with food, refreshments, a band, and the community. Many thanks to the church for the invite, food, and great time.
