On Thursday June 8, 2006 at 0946 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers were alerted to Calverton School (Calverton School Rd) for the student injured on the ball field. Ambulance 69 (Muholland) arrived and found the patient with traumatic injuries to his leg. Because of this, the Helicopter was requested which alerted Chief 6B (Hayes) and Engine 62 (Lt Montgomery) to the call. The patient was packaged and loaded for transport to a trauma center. Units cleared less than one hour later.
