| It brings deep sadness, that the the Huntingtown VFD regretfully announces the passing of one of our own members. Natala Lowery, 25 years old, joined Huntingtown approximately 6 months ago. During this time span, she took on FireFighter I (at Huntingtown VFD) and EMT-B training.
Unfortunately, this morning, Natala was driving a vehicle owned by the private ambulance service she was employed by. At approximately 0730 hours, the vehicle she was driving was involved in a serious accident at Route 4 and Sixes Road.
This evening at around 1700 hours, we were able to contact the family. The mother wishes for the local fire departments to show their support by inviting all members and apparatus to attend the viewing/funeral. The dates and times should be available tomorrow.
