On Friday March 31, 2006 at 1349 hours, Engine 61 (Muholland) and Tanker 6 (Sgt Nasti) were alerted to 10425 Southern Maryland Blvd (REMAX) in Company 5's first due for the building fire. Engine 51 arrived and reported heavy smoke showing. Upon investigation, the shrubbery and mulch caught fire on Side "A" and quickly spread to the front porch area and siding of the building. Fortunately, Company 5 units made quick work of the fire. Engine 61's crew reported to Command and was requested to assist units with Salvage and Overhaul. At 1453 hours, Company 6 units were ready.
