| On Thursday March 23, 2006 at 0640 hours, Chief 6C (Spriggs), Engine 62 (Dorsey) and Squad 6 (Chief 6A, Riffe) were alerted to 5032 Breezy Point Road for the reported house fire along with Engine 151 (Navy Base), Company 1 (North Beach), Company 2 (Prince Frederick), and Tanker 5 (Dunkirk). Engine 151 (Capt D'Intino) arrived first on location with a vacant two-story residence with smoke showing. Upon forcing entry, crews found a working fire in the living room. Two attack lines were advanced into the dwelling where quick work was made of the fire. Engine 62 arrived, picked up Engine 151's line and assisted crews on the 1st floor with checking for extension. Squad 6's crew arrived, completed the secondary search (negative) and assisted with overhaul. Huntingtown crews operated on the scene until 0815 hours.
