| On March 15, 2006 at approximately 2130 hours, while Engine 62 (Chief 6B, Hayes) was returning from the Solomons Fire, Company 6 (Huntingtown), Engine 151 (Navy Base), and Ambulance 4 (Prince Frederick RS) were alerted for the auto accident in front of 3215 Bayside Road. Chief 6 (Osbourn) was first to arrive, established Command, and reported a serious two-vehicle accident. However, during his size-up, the two vehicles ended up being one vehicle. The driver (lone occupant) struck a tree and telephone pole causing his vehicle to be split into two pieces ejecting the driver. Soon to follow, Chief 6C, Squad 6 (Hengstenberg), Engine 62, Ambulance 69 (Gadway, J), Ambulance 68 (Amick), and Huntingtown Medic 103 (Morris) arrived on location. The EMS crews immediately went to work on the patient who claimed there were other victims. Because of this, personnel walked the surrounding areas canvasing it with the Thermal Imager. No other victims were found though. The patient was packaged and flown to PG Shock Trauma. Engine 62 handled the Landing Zone. Units cleared at 2245 hours.
