Huntingtown has done it once again. Recently, 8 of our own members returned home from several weeks of assisting in the recovery efforts in the New Orleans area after the 2 hurricanes that destroyed the region. We felt that we could do more and agreed at the last business meeting to do just that. Currently, we have 11 duty crews at the station with an officer on each crew. All eleven crews have agreed to adopt AT LEAST one family in New Orleans and assist them in any way possible. Many of these families lost everything they owned. We will be donating money, and the necessary supplies to get them back on their feet. If anybody is interested in the operation, you can visit: www.pstc911.com or www.911cares.com
