On Saturday October 26, 2005 at 1314 hours, Chief 6 (Osbourn), Chief 6A (Riffe), Engine 62 (Rountree), Squad 6 (Foresta), and Ambulance 68 (Lt Nutwell) were alerted to 125 Allnut Court (second due) along with Company 2 (Prince Frederick), Company 7 (St Leonard), Company 83 (Benedict), Truck 3 (Solomons), and Ambulance 48 (Rescue Squad) for the oven fire. Company 2 units arrived on location with nothing evident. Upon entry, Chief 2A advised of a working fire. The fire was quickly extinguished and Command held Company 2 and Company 6. The crews from Company 6 assisted with overhaul and venting the apartment. Company 6 units cleared at 1355 hours.
Command: Chief 2A; Operations: Chief 6A; Interior: Captain 2 (Pesci)

Twenty minutes later, Company 6 was alerted for the investigation in the area of Bowie Shop Road and Welchbrook Drive. Chief 6A arrived and advised of a working woods fire inches from a garage and threatening a nearby house. Two additional brush trucks were alerted (Brush 2 and Brush 5). Chief 6, Chief 6B (Hayes), Engine 61 (Kearns), Jeep 6 (Capt Mckenny), and Tanker 6 (Cox) arrived minutes later and worked the perimeter quickly extinguishing the fire. Mutual aid units were cancelled and Company 6 units were back in service 30 minutes later.

Later that evening, Chief 6, Squad 6, and Engine 62 were dispatched to Company 2's first due in front of AppleBee's for the auto accident. Company 2 units were already committed to a serious accident in front of WalMart. The accident was found to be minor and Chief 6 held it with one BLS unit.

Two minutes after backing into quarters from the above accident, Engine 62 (Lt Cox) and Tanker 6 (Sgt Bivens) were alerted to 5230 Knights Oak Court for the garage fire. Units arrived to find fire showing as a result of a turkey fryer too close to a residence. The fire was quickly extinguished and units were placed in service.
