| On Monday November 14, 2005 at 2045 hours, Engine 62 (Chief 6B; Hayes) and Tanker 6 (Kearns) were alerted to 2611 Red Bud Lane for the house fire along with Company 5 (Dunkirk), Company 2 (Prince Frederick), and Engine 11 (North Beach). First arriving, Captain 6 (Mckenny) found heavy-smoke conditions on the 2nd floor of a two-story residence. Units from Company 5 found a laundry room off on the 2nd floor which was quickly extinguished. Engine 51's crew was backed by Engine 62. After assisting Engine 51, Engine 62's crew checked the attic and surrounding areas for extension before ventilating the residence. Command (Chief 5A; McAllister) held Company 5, Engine 62, and Tower 2 for approximately one hour.
While operating on the above run with two pieces, two additional crews remained at the station and responded to one run on Carla Drive.
