| On Tuesday October 6, 2015, during the weekly Board of Calvert County Commissioners Meeting, the Commissioners recognized the annual Fire Prevention Week. They presented every county department with a Fire Prevention Proclamation. On behalf of the Huntingtown VFD, Lieutenant Wayne Ward received the proclamation.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED by the Board of County Commissioners of Calvert County that the week of
October 5 — 11, 2015, be known as "Fire Prevention Week' in Calvert County. BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that all citizens
are called upon to join us in continuing education, with the theme being, "Hear the BEEP where you SLEEP," to install smoke alarms
in every bedroom, each separate sleeping area, and on every level of your home, including the basement. Heed the important safety
messages of Fire Prevention Week 2015 and support the volunteers and their efforts. |
