The Huntingtown Volunteers and surrounding companies were alerted at 0634hrs on Wednesday for the vehicle fire threatening a dwelling. The Fire Chief (Spriggs), Assistant Chief(Morris), Deputy Chief(Clark), E62(LT Miller), Tanker 6, and A69(LT Jordan) responded on the run. Chief 6A arrived to find a SUV approximately five feet from the home with the engine compartment on fire. E62 arrived shortly after, running the front bumper line and making quick work of the auto fire. Crews found no extension to the home and the box was held to Chief 6A,Chief 5A, E62, and Tanker 6 within 10 minutes.
