| For the second time during the month of June & 5th time for the year 2014, the membership of the Huntingtown VFD has been credited with a lifesave. On Monday July 28, 2014 at 0920 hours, Huntingtown VFD Engine & Ambulance Company 6, Dunkirk VFD Paramedic Ambulance 58 & Medic 103 were alerted for the cardiac arrest in the 6500 block of Lower Marlboro Lane. The Huntingtown Volunteers arrived on location and found one of their own members (who was in the area and arrived personal vehicle) performing CPR on a 22 year old male. BLS & ALS interventions were immediately initiated. After a few minutes, the patient regained a pulse and began breathing again on his own. Prior to loading the patient into Ambulance 69 for transport to Calvert Memorial Hospital, the patient was conscious and talking. Outstanding job to all members on the scene!
