Tuesday June 10, 2014 at 1347 hours, Engine Company 6 was alerted for the auto fire at Route 4 & Bowie Shop Road. Engine 61 (Dantos) cleared a Medical Local they were handling with Ambulance 69 and responded to the scene, with Tanker 6 (Riffe) responding from quarters. The Huntingtown Volunteers arrived on location and found the engine compartment of a vehicle on fire. The 150' front bumper line was stretched making quick work of the fire. Engine 61 & Tanker 6 returned to service 30 minutes later.
