On Saturday March 8, the Calvert County Career and Technology Academy held their 26th Annual Skills USA Bowl-A-Thon at the Lord Calvert Bowling Alley in Huntingtown. Several Huntingtown VFD members currently enrolled in the high school Fire-Rescue-Cadet program attended the annual event, as well as President Dale Bowen. Proceeds from the event are used to cover expenses needed for the many local, state and national conferences and competitions scheduled for the high school students throughout the school year.
