| On Friday August 12, 2005 at 2034 hrs, Company 1 (North Beach), Engine 151 (Navy Base), and Ambulance 5 (Dunkirk) were alerted for an auto accident in front of the Ledo's on Rt. 260. Units arrived to find a two-vehicle accident with three injured. Due to this information, Company 6 (Huntingtown) was alerted to the call. All three patients were transported to the LZ priority 2 by Ambulance 18, Ambulance 58, and Ambulance 69 and flown to Prince George's Hospital Trauma Center. E-52(Dunkirk) handled the landing site for Trooper 2(MSP) and Eagle 2(US Park Police). Remaining units cleared at 2134 hours. Chief 1 (Freesland) had the Command.
During the above incident, Engine 62 responded on a first-due medical with Ambulance 4 (Prince Frederick) due to our ambulance being committed on the above call. Just after returning from the auto accident, Squad 6 and Ambulance 69 responded to Route 4 and Lord Baltimore Drive for the auto accident with vehicle overturned.
