| Yesterday, January 12, 2013, Fire Service Icon, Past DCFD Fire Chief Dennis Rubin presented an 8 hour seminar at the Huntingtown VFD. A total of 90 participants were in attendance from across the state of Maryland.
From 9 am-12 pm, "Rube's Rules of Leadership" was the topic of discussion. After an hour lunch break catered by Owner Dale Bowen of "Butts Up BBQ," the afternoon session from 1-4 pm consisted of "The A, B, & C's of Fire Ground Safety."
Many thanks to all of the emergency responders from across the state of Maryland who spent their day for this special presentation. Many thanks to the Public Safety Calvert County Fire-EMS-Rescue Office for funding this event. This was an excellent learning experience for everyone in attendance!
