Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 1117 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), 2nd due Engine 62 (Sgt Montgomery) & 2nd due Special Service, Squad 6 (Thrasher) were alerted for the house fire at 1537 Wilson Road on the south-east side of Huntingtown, MD in the 217 box. Engine 62 arrived on location immediately after Engine 22, who reported light smoke showing and supplied supplying their Wagon. Engine 62's crew advanced the front bumper line to Division 1, checking for extension while the crew from Engine 22 found a small fire in the rear of the residence located at the electrical meter. The fire was quickly extinguished and units from the Huntingtown VFD returned to service within the hour.
