Monday October 22, 2012 at 0654 hours, Engine Companies 5, 6, 1 & 2, Tower 1, Squad 5, Tankers 5 & 6, Ambulance 6 & the North-Side Duty Chief were alerted for the Camper Fire at 7220 Burning Timber Lane in the 501 box. Twelve Huntingtown Volunteers responded bringing: Chief 6A (Montgomery) as the North-Side Duty Chief, Engine 62 (Sgt Montgomery), Tanker 6 (Farrell) & Ambulance 69 (Sgt Colliflower). Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived on location of a fully-involved 30' camper in a driveway. Engine 62 deployed an attack line quickly extinguishing all fire inside of the camper. Within 10 minutes the entire assignment was scaled back to Engine 62 & Tanker who remained on the scene until 0826 hours awaiting the Fire Investigator.
