The crew from Engine 151 stretched an attack line into the basement and quickly extinguished the fire while the crews from Engine 61 and Squad 6 checked the first floor for extensions and performed ventilation. Command (Chief 6A, J. Riffe) held Company 6, Engine 151, and the engine from Company 2. At 1751 hours, Command was terminated.
