This year marked the 120th Annual Maryland State Firemen's Association Convention. Several dozen members traveled to Ocean City, Md as we have in year's past. Sunday evening, a total of 62 Huntingtown Volunteers gathered at the Sunset Grille for the annual dinner while several dozen other members remained back home and enjoyed their own catered dinner at the station.
Many thanks to everybody for attending the convention and extra special thanks to the members that stayed home, took off work, and rearranged their work and family schedules to ensure we were staffed 24/7. For example, member Dave Willis who has resided in South Carolina for the past few years, drives to Huntingtown every summer and sleeps here for 7 days to ensure we have a a driver in quarters at all times.
