Monday December 19, 2011 at 0709 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Engine 62 (Montgomery Jr) and Tanker 6 (Gaylor) were alerted for the "Working House Fire" at 6095 Hill Road in St Leonard (704 Box). First arriving units from the St Leonard VFD arrived on location with fire showing from the 1 story wood-frame residence. Engine 62 (4th due) arrived on location as the 3rd due Engine Company and was assigned RIT per Command. Engine 62's crew performed RIT responsibilities (ladders and clearing windows, etc) until the fire was knocked down when they were reassigned to assist 1st arriving companies with overhauling the residence. Tanker 6 supplied water to the fire ground. Units from the Huntingtown VFD remained on the scene until 0913 hours.
