Wednesday November 30, 2011 at 0624 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Gaylor), Engine 62 (Hayden) and Ambulance 69 (Colliflower) were alerted for the overturned dump truck at the Route 2/4 Split. In addition, this also brought Dunkirk Squad 5 and Ambulance 58. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived on location and found a loaded dumptruck (full of salt and sand) overturned with the driver self-extricated. Ambulance 69 transported the patient to Calvert Memorial Hospital while fire crews worked on securing the vehicle and removing hazards from the roadway.
