Funeral and Memorial Service Information: The funeral will be held this Sunday, September 7th, with the viewing at 2:00 pm and funeral services at 3:00 pm. The location will be Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, 44 Dan Walters Drive, Independence, VA 24348 (approximately 6.5 hours away from Huntingtown). A memorial Service will be held at the Prince Frederick Vol. Rescue Squad on Saturday, September 27th, at 11:00 am. As a local Fire Chief noted: "She performed with the heart of a lion but had the mannerism of a kind sweet lady who always had a kind word and a smile. She would always tell her members how important they were to her as FAMILY and how much she loved being a part of theirs!! The world has truly lost a wonderful person but heaven has gained another BEAUTIFUL ANGEL! Your reward is knowing that you have done our world a GREAT SERVICE!" Shirley will be greatly missed." />
