Sunday August 22, 2010 at 2230 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Chief 6C (Morris) and Engine 62 (Lt Buckler) were alerted for the house on fire in the 7900 block of Old Bayside Road. First arriving units reported smoke showing from a one-story wood-frame vacant residence. A small fire was located in the kitchen area and was quickly extinguished. The 7-man crew from Engine 62 (3rd due) went to work opening up before returning to service 30 minutes later.
