May 13, 2012 at 0600 hours, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Safety 6 (McKenny), Engine 61 (Sgt Montgomery), Squad 6 (Gaylor), Tanker 6 (Robison) and Ambulance 68 (Morgal) were alerted for the auto on fire next to a house at 2521 Hillside Drive. Units from the Huntingtown VFD arrived on location and found an auto on fire with extension to a detached garage. The crew from Engine 61 deployed the front bumper attack line quickly making work of the auto and the fire impenging on the garage. The crew from Squad 6 checked for further extension and opened up for the Engine Company. Within minutes the Box was held to the Huntingtown Volunteers who picked up and returned to service in 30 minutes.
