Many thanks for all your support, prayers and fundraiser for our son, Simon Thomas. He is doing great, even the doctors are amazed. We credit that to the incredible skill of the facility in Florida and to all the prayers that have come our way. He has a long way to go but we know that with continued support, he will do well. We are also sending a card of thanks and when I (his mum) returns from Florida, we would like to come by to one of the monthly meetings to personally thank you. I will be leaving on Monday to return to Florida after 10 days in Maryland to take care of appointments. Once again, we offer our sincere appreciation for a wonderful service. The professional firefighters in West Palm Beach and area have been terrific offering us a place to live, support, lots of prayers and just being there for comfort. What an incredible brotherhood. your information about your first pumper is incorrect. this piece was a 1962 ford built by american fire ap0paratus. it had a750 gpm frount mount pump and a 500 gal tank.

I want to say Thank you so much to all the firefighters that responded to the fire on Soper Rd. Thank you for putting your lives on the line each and every time you go out on a call and especially that night. It was a very difficult situation. My father has 53 years of service (capitol heights fire dept co 5) and it was his house that burned to the ground. I am so thankful that my all my family got out safe. We all feel so upset for the injured firefighters and we pray for them and there families. once again THANK YOU VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTERS!
