In the early morning hours of Saturday June 4, 2011 at 0206 hours, Chief 6B (Morris) as the "North Side Duty Chief", Engine 62 (Lt Nasti), Squad 6 (Wallace) and Tanker 6 (Hildwine) were alerted for the "Working House Fire" at 1815 Candlelight Court (501 box). First arriving units from the Dunkirk VFD arrived on location of a large 2-story house with fire showing from the rear. Crews immediately went to work and within a matter of minutes were able to knock down all visible fire. The crew from Engine 62 assisted units on the scene with a back-up line while Squad 6 checked for extension in the interior (majority of the fire was on the exterior Side "C" wall), ventilated, and overhauled outside.

Chief 6B was the Incident Commander. Units from the Huntingtown VFD operated until 0356 hours.
