| At the last Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen's Association (SMVFA) Convention, the Huntingtown VFD won the raffle for a free charter boat fishing tournament with "Shea D-Lady" Charter Boat and Captain Bernie Shea (long-time member of Solomons VRSFD). On Tuesday May 24, 9 Huntingtown VFD members boarded the boat at 6 am in Solomons, MD (Calvert Marina). The weather couldn't have been anymore perfect and within 6 hours, all fishermen had caught their limit.
Many thanks to Bernie Shea "Shea D-Lady" for a fun-filled day on the Chesapeake Bay.
