| This past Sunday, May 22nd, Public Safety held the 3rd Annual Calvert County Volunteer Appreciation Day at the Fairgrounds in Prince Frederick, MD. Over 250 volunteers (not counting friends and family) spent their entire day (1200-1800 hours) at the event. Their were several activities such as a volleyball tournament, hula-hoop contest, laser tag, horseshoes, moon bounce, pony rides for kids, water slide, door prizes and plenty of food and drink for all. The Huntingtown VFD supported this event with Engine 61, Engine 62, Squad 6, Jeep and Ambulance 69, totaling approximately 25 Huntingtown Volunteers. The event, as always, was a total success!!!!!! Many thanks to Public Safety and all the members of the departments for their support.
Many thanks to the dedicated members for taking time away on this Sunday afternoon.
