| Saturday December 11, 2010 at 1706 hours, while units from the Huntingtown VFD were participating in the Annual Santa Run, Chief 6A (Montgomery), Engine 61 (Montgomery Jr) and Squad 6 (Miller) were responding to a working RV fire while a crew was filling at Dunkirk VFD (and had a successful lifesave). At the same, Prince Frederick Chief 2 reported an auto accident at Dares Beach Road and Armory Road with one trapped and unconscious. Squad 6, in the vicinity, was rerouted from the fire to the accident. The crew from Squad 6 arrived on location, stabilized/secured the vehicle and forced/removed the driver's side door to extricate the patient. Squad 6 returned to service at 1803 hours. |
